One of Henderson’s most beloved holiday traditions is the annual Holiday Lights display at Cornerstone Park. Throughout the month of December, the park transforms into a dazzling winter wonderland. Meander along the light-covered pathways and marvel at over 2 million glittering lights in the shapes of snowflakes, snowmen, reindeer, and more. Make sure to check out the 30-foot Christmas tree at the center of the park, synchronized to holiday music. Families will love the oppotunity to snap photos in front of the larger-than-life light structures. We recommend going at night when the lights are at their most magical. Lace up your skates and glide across the ice this holiday season at The Galleria at Sunset mall’s outdoor ice rink. Open from early November through mid January, this real ice rink provides frosty fun for both kids and adults. Skating sessions last one and a half hours. We recommend booking your time slot in advance since sessions fill up, especially on weekends. The Galleria also offers skating lessons and hosts themed events like Friday Night Skate Parties. Once you’ve had your fill of skating, explore the shops and restaurants inside the mall, many of which offer their own holiday diversions.
